Finn White-Thomson is an award winning filmmaker who directs, shoots and edits documentaries, adverts and sports content for broadcast, digital and online productions.
His thought processes are a confluence of his parents’: His mother is an author and his father is a businessman, so he cultivated a natural balance between the logical side of his brain and the creative or conceptual side.
Looking back, he views his education not as something that was preparatory, but rather as a platform which broadened his curiosity about everything. In many industries a degree in Cultural Studies is frowned upon as being overly broad, but in the film industry it is incredibly valuable, offering knowledge in an array of different topics, ideas and ways of thinking.
‘Finn is an outstanding individual to work with. He proved to be an indispensable member for the team during his time with MMF. Highly skilled, efficient and effective. An excellent camera operator, and editor with a great eye for detail and a can do attitude. I can't recommend him highly enough. He would be an absolute asset to any team.’
